Do you ship kittens, or is pickup required?
This varies depending on distance and individual circumstances. Contact us to discuss delivery or pickup options for your location, and we can talk through what makes the most sense for your specific situation.
For local and regional families, in-person pickup is generally our preference. Meeting in person means you get to see where your kitten was raised, meet the parents when possible, ask any last questions face to face, and get a firsthand look at how your kitten has been living and socializing. It also gives us a chance to walk through the health records and transition guide together rather than over email, which tends to answer questions before they even come up.
For families farther away, we're generally open to discussing alternatives on a case-by-case basis — options can include ground transport with a trusted pet courier, meeting partway, or coordinating with the family to travel to us. We tend to be cautious about air cargo shipping specifically, since it involves real stress and some risk for a young kitten, and many breeders (us included) prefer options that keep the kitten with a person the whole way, whether that's an in-cabin flight with an escort or a car trip, when distance makes a full pickup visit impractical.
Because every situation is different — distance, timing, your schedule, the kitten's age — this is really a conversation rather than a fixed policy. Contact us to talk through what would work best for your location, and feel free to browse available kittens while you're at it.
